An old friend has ended his life (if the stories are to be believed).

He loved me unconditionally and I let him down. I had always hoped to change that part but I ran out of time. (My head and heart are so very thick with regret - I cannot breathe.)

My life is better for having him in it. I just wish this was not the end.
